Job Details:
The Medical Assistantworks under the direction of the Physician, and in partnership with the health care team and patient/family, to perform work processes to accomplish positive patient outcomes and organizational goals. Provision of care focuses on assisting patient before provider sees patient. Reports to the Practice Manager.
Education:High School graduate or equivalent. Completed course in medical assisting preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year experience as a medical assistant strongly preferred.
Certification:BLS Certification required.
Other Job Requirements: Proficiency with computer applications and capable of learning new software. Work effectively and efficiently under multiple interruptions and a fast-paced work environment. Remain courteous and calm under pressure. Other tasks as assigned by Practice Manager.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
