Job Details:

Provides support and assistance to the Care Coordination Colleagues. Acts as a community liaison and information resource between Care Coordination Colleagues and outside agencies. Performs office coordination and administrative duties. Responsible for providing assistance and coordination of discharge/transition plans by copying and faxing patient information to outside agencies for placement. Coordinates information about patient progress toward discharge with designated extended care facilities, rehab facilities and home health agencies.
Education:Knowledge of basic computer skills and medical terminology normally acquired by completing high school. Associates Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum two years experience as a medical secretary/assistant or related health care setting.
Other Job Requirements:Must be able to operate a telephone, personal computer, office product software and office equipment. Detail oriented and strong organizational skills. Must have good communication skills and be able to maintain positive interactions with all levels of Colleagues. Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written format. Compliance with strict deadlines is a must. Must have high level of mental concentration and be able to work on multiple task simultaneously with frequent interruptions.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
