Job Details:
Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications and promotes optimal level of health. Accountable for integrating care within scope of practice licensure, relevant education and experience. Reports to shift Team Leader and is accountable to the Department Manager. Utilizes Policies and Procedures to guide job duties. Level specific criteria are evaluated annually and can be found in the McLaren Northern Michigan Clinical Ladder.
Education:As a Magnet organization, for those hired into an RN position after January 1, 2014, it isrequiredto obtain a BSN within five years of your start date as an RN with McLaren Northern Michigan. Certification in the specialty area of practice is strongly encouraged.
Licensure:License to practice nursing in the State ofMichigan.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
